Deacons

Covenant's Deacon ministry is a ministry of compassion, witness, and service, sharing in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, those burdened by unjust policies or structures, or anyone in distress. Deacons offer services such as visitation of home-bound members, visitation of those in hospitals and rehab facilities, prayer, communion for home-bound members, and emergency assistance for rent and utility bills for people living in the Great Valley School District. Stephen Ministers are trained church members who provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.
