Blessing of the Animals
Classification
Covenant is having its 3rd annual Blessing of the Animals service this year! We will have a short blessing service at 10 a.m. on October 18th along with treats for your pets and crafts for kids. This year we are also having a drive for us to collect pet items that La Mancha is in need of and this service will also serve as the drop off event for those items. Please for everyone's safety make sure your dog is on a leash and your cat is in a carrier! We look forward to celebrating our pets with you all!
Items for drive:
Biggest needs:
Soft dog and cat treats (Pupperoni is always a huge hit. Milo’s Meatballs are a real delicacy).
Peanut butter
Paper towels
Spray bottles (small and large bottles are good)
Also needed (but not as huge of a need):
Dry and canned dog, puppy, and cat food (opened is okay)
SMALL crunchy dog treats
Vinegar
Bleach
Simple Green cleaning solution (and similar)
Dawn dish detergent
Could use:
Clean old towels (not sheets or blankets)
Expensive stuff: (all are okay if opened)
Flea and tick treatments
Heartworm treatments
Vetrycin antibacterial spray
Hot spot spray
Medicated shampoo for various conditions.
