Spring Women’s Retreat: Relationship as Holy Resistance
In an overstimulating, overactive, overly hurried society- how do we fight for space and time to be who we were created to be? How do we resist culture’s pressure and temptations to be consumers in favor of our call to be relational beings?
Come join us for a day where we put aside responsibility, expectations and to-do lists so that we can free ourselves up to reconnect with ourselves. We will ponder how prioritizing sabbath and relationships can be a Holy act of resistance while exploring how we can be playful and lighthearted in our day to day lives.
The retreat will be held on Saturday, May 9th, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Church of the Loving Shepherd located at 1066 S. New St., West Chester, Pa 19382. Cost is $25 with scholarships available. Please RSVP to Pastor Maggie.
