Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, James is a recent transplant to Pennsylvania. He attended Shenandoah University, where he graduated with degrees in trumpet performance and jazz studies. Prior to moving, James was a music teacher at a rural private school and worked with a variety of churches in the area. James feels blessed to combine his passion for AV education with his faith as he serves at Covenant. James resides in Chester County with his fiancé Heather, where they spend their days playing trumpet in community ensembles, and being tolerated by their cat, Winston.
